Centre Console

I am thinking of fittting a roof mount screen and DVD/TV unit.

 

Has anyone looked into the price of the centre console that neatly fits the factory fitted DVD unit ?

 

I like the idea of fitting this console unit but with a DVD unit of my own

or the Ford DVD player if its reasonable price.

 

Does anyone have the Ford part Number ? or VW if its an option ?

Stagowner, I have the console on my 2003 Ghia (with DVD player as a factory option) the console is available in 4 colours approx

Stagowner and CDN. Firstly I don't work at a Ford Garage! The reason i have access to the numbers is I get the monthly Ford Microcat CD's that the dealers have form friendly inside source :blink:

 

Over the tears I have restored and built many vehicles including an MG Midget, 1968 Triumph Spitfire Mk3, several RS2000's, and mexcicos and later XR3i's, RS turbos and Escort Cabriolets. I have also helped my mates build RS Cosworth powered transits etc. So it goes without saying I like to tinker.

 

As such you need to research what you wnat to do, and as most UK ford dealers are crap, I use contacts inside Ford UK and Germany as well as sourcing German parts.

That Transit you built.. does the the owner also have a Gartrac G6 escort?? and did he have a MK2 Escort RS2000 estate by any chance?
