Richmond Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 On the subject of Tyre safety, I got a puncture in Belgium the other week, and didn't know about it until somebody pointed it out in a Hypermarket in France, this was front passenger side, on good ol' CH90's. Hard luck. BTW, if you didn't know that you had a puncture until you were told in France, how do you know that you got it in Belgium? Quote
Guest Boggler Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 Cos I felt a bit of "grinding" pulling away from the kerb in Belgium. I put it down to rubble by the side of the road; it probably was - ripping into my Tyre  Quote
italiastar Posted August 23, 2004 Report Posted August 23, 2004 I know I keep asking this question , but how can I tell if my tyres are reinforced? My car has the factory fitted Continental Eco-Contact CP with no reference to being reinforced - does that mean that they are not or are all Ecocontact CPs reinforced as standard? - I only ask as how could I tell if I'm buying the correct tyre. Tigger Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I also have the factory fitted eco tyre but mine has an R on the tyre or it sys reinforced. I will check later. Quote
Ivor_E_Tower Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I know I keep asking this question , but how can I tell if my tyres are reinforced? It will be clearly moulded on the tyre sidewall Quote
italiastar Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Thanks Ivor, I've checked mine and in inner ring of writing (the one closest to the rim) has 95H REINFORCED on it. Quote
