Thewanderingbadger Posted January 9, 2018 Report Posted January 9, 2018 Hi All thanks for the Add I’m in the market for a 1.9 TDI Ghia 2004 I’ve had a Passat with the same engine for the last 5 years and love its reliability.Firstly do all Ghias and Zetecs come with captains seats parkers say they do however I’m sceptical they all do – I gather cruise control is standard on the Ghia. Budget is circa £3,500 so I’m potentially in mk3 territory I like the practicality of the folding seats but are they as spacious/flexible as the mk2 also how does the reliability compare the VAG PD engine? gregers Posted January 9, 2018 Report Posted January 9, 2018 welcome, cruise isnt standard on all ghias, they also done 1 with leather and dvd entertainment system, also done a version with rear aircon.only 1 rear most window ever opened.as for arm rests yes i think you are correct. mk3 titainium also differ.all depends on what the 1st owner ticked on the option list. have you thought about the smax?mine came with cruise and half leather also had a pan roof. AndyPoole1 Posted January 10, 2018 Report Posted January 10, 2018 The Mk3 did not come out till 2006 and was pure ford. The Mk2 (Ford / VW) was 2000-2006 Quote
