Front Window Not Opening

Hi

 

When I try and open the front drivers side window it comes down about 1cm and then stops. It doesn't open any further than this.

 

What do you suggest I look at to try and fix this? All the other windows work fine.

i would say the regulator is stuck,i have to assume that its the same sort of thing fitted to most cars.

if so then maybe the cable has overun?or it might be as simple as lubing the glass channel?

try lubing 1st,also do it from the passenger side bit at a time rather then 1 touch.as you may burn the motor out?

After some Google searching I found out that I needed to reset the global opening/closing.

 

After doing this the problem was fixed.
