alfieb Posted November 5, 2017 Report Posted November 5, 2017 This is my first post on this forum and I'm seeking advice on a display light I have never seen before.I acquired my Galaxy (a 60 plate) earlier this year. As a habit I double lock my Galaxy and check a door to see the car is locked. With the dark nights drawing in I have spotted that a red "I" flashing on the display. I'm assuming this is an information warning light but can't find anything in the owner manual that explains what this means. As this is a repeated display light I'm hoping it isn't sufficient to drain the battery. I'd be grateful for someone, with knowledge of the various display lights, to reassure me what the light means and whether I need worry if this continues. Quote
gregers Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 iirc its telling you the system/car is armed and immobilized, all is good, you can now sleep at night. Quote
alfieb Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 Thanks for the reply. I'll certainly get back to some sleep and take these matchsticks off my eyes. :) Don't know why I've never noticed the light before...Many thanks Quote
gregers Posted November 7, 2017 Report Posted November 7, 2017 only worry if it starts blinking rapidly, flashing every 5 seconds or so is ok,blinking like a gooden means a fault has been logged.then you can see basic diagnostic info through your convers dash. Quote
