Glow Plug Light And Comment Take To Work Shop

Help i was driving along when the glow plug light came on and the comment goto workshop, turned the ignition off and it came back, is this serious or is it a case of a glow plug the engine sounds the same.

1.check all your brake lights are working.

 

2. check all tailgate wires in the rubber boot on right-hand side when the tailgate is open---common to breakages which cause warning to come on as well.

Hi thanks there are no break lights is this a fuse

if you have no brake lights then it may well be the brake switch needs replacing.you might be able to mend it by adjusting it?by pulling the plunger down??
