Strange Noise - Whooshing From Front Passenger Side - When Cold

Really strange - sort of like a whoosing sound from front passenger side. Only happens when engine cold and seems to happen when you take foot off accelerator. e.g. if approaching a roundabout.

Been like this for months now but I guess I need to find out what it is.

Im thinking maybe suspension damper getting a bit stiff or something?

Nah like water "wooshing"

Check the drain holes on the passenger side sill aren't blocked (stick something up inside them to clear them - a piece of stiff wire or a small screwdriver).

 

Be prepared to get a load of water coming out when you start poking.
