Alternator Belt Screech When Putting Foot Down. Mk2 X-Reg, Pd I Think?

My mk1 had this problem, and it turned out to be the alt pulley, only difference was that it made the noise during tick over (on the mk1). Is it the same deal on the mk2's? The tensioner setup looks different....many thanks

I had this on my galaxy mk2 1.9. I changed the alternator clutch pulley and the tensioner as the tensioner was bouncing because the clutch pulley was falling on the altenator.
