t-aslam Posted August 31, 2016 Report Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) Guys yesterday I parked my a galaxy on my drive and locked it via he remote and it locked. When I came back to it later and unlocked it via the remote it unlocked all locks with the exception of the drivers door lock. I had to use the key for this. My ac panel has no light and does not switch on. The clock isn't working and the trip meter keeps resetting after the every trip. It turned out to be fuse 32 but the second a new fuse touches the panel (not even pushed in just the metal contacts) it blows immediately. I've checked the drivers door wiring which I fixed a long time ago and still seems fine. No other wire breakages there. I've never had any damp in the car and no wet carpet from what I can gather. I've had his car for nearly 7 years and it's now sitting on 252k miles. Engine still fantastic no other problems. Battery is fairly new and still good. Car starts and drives fine, auto Windows work so does my radio and 12v socket. Just really confused. Any pointers? Edited August 31, 2016 by t-aslam Quote
t-aslam Posted August 31, 2016 Author Report Posted August 31, 2016 Found the problem. The drivers door wiring that I had originally repaired had corroded a little. Quote
