Hi

I have noticed that the rear window wiper water jet has not been working, Upon investigation I noticed that water was leaking into the drivers side foot well. I have removed the little storage compartment and have a rough location of where the water is leaking from, however it seems to be under the front driver side post or there about.

Q1. Is can I fix this myself or should take to the garage.

Q2. If I attempt it myself where or what do I need to do?

Cheers

Might be a bit late, but are you sure this isn't a mk 1 or 2 your dealing with. Both suffer with a joint in the pipework coming apart - its an easy fix once you get the trim off just a case of rejoining the pipe back together (a couple of fuel line hose clips works, though various other methods can be used to stop it separating again.

Even  if it is a mk3 then it should be fairly easy to fix once you get to the leak - it will be a case of removing some of the trim to access it, then repairing wherever its leaking from (a replacement piece of washer pipe of the right size should fit over the existing pipe, or you may be able to get a joiner between them if its damaged rather than come apart?)
