Should I be able to clear codes with VCD Lite?

What is the latest version that can be run on the 2006 Galaxy MKII?

 

I am using an OBD2 II KKCL Cable with the VCD Lite at present.

I'm still using an old version of VAG-COM, but VCDS-Lite will do the important stuff including clear codes, and is the best tool to use.

 

Latest version is 1.2, available from the Ross-Tech site, there's more info there about the few restrictions on the shareware Lite version.

You will be able to clear codes with the lite version providing you've fixed the reason they occurred in the first place. You can't do some of the coding functions in the free version but these probably not a problem anyway.
