Trying to fix friends Galaxy after the Garage replaced the rear Brake calipers and disks. She has had enough of repairs causing other problems and so has asked me.

The brake lights do not work at all now and yes the glow light is flashing but was doing so before the brak lights failed. Is there anything the garage could have failed to connect to cause this before I start fiddling with the brake switch?

If not then I'd like some advice please. The Galaxy is an R registered diesel with cruise control and has two switches - I think. I can't see well under the lower fascia and can't see how to remove this. If I get the Haynes manual will it tell me how to remove this and if not can someone tell me how to remove it and the fusebox, which I understand has to be removed. Also which switch is it likely to be, blue or black?

All advice greatfully received.

Pete
