Red Information I Flashing On Dash When Galaxy Is Locked

Hello All

Just a quick question,

I have just brought a 2009 2.2 ghia Galaxy a couple of months ago. I have noticed a RED CAPITAL I(eye) flashing in the centre of the speedo part of dash.

Is that correct? it goes away when  i unlock the car and if i go into the information screen it says no message. the alarm works ok, Am I worrying over nothing

Hi.  Is your Galaxy a MK3?  You may want to report in that section if so.  If I was making a pure guess about your question though, I'd say it could be the engine immobiliser just showing its enabled.
