Car Starts Hot When Its Cold Outside

Hi

Strange one my car lately at 5am thinks its nice and hot outside, the glowplug light will go out as though cars warm and it will start but it just for a second or 2 will be as though no choke, whereas the revs should be slightly up with a faster engine note, any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
