I have a Galaxy reg. No 02 plate what mark is this? I assume its the mark 2 or 3 but not sure..

My Galaxy is an 1.9 TDi Ghia Auto and is a good runner , recently however it has started to rev. up after changing gears as though the clutch is slipping intermittently, does anyone know what it could be? TIA

howdy again m8ty,

youve got a mk2 not a mk3.

there is lots of info within the forum if you search, maybe even in the faqs.

could be requiring new oil in the gearbox?

to a sensor?

someone may be along to point you in the right direction.

Thanks Grwgers, I hope someone can point me in the right direction to be honest, I do hope its not the gearbox clutch as that would be well over a grand to sort.

I am trying to find a specialist Garage who deal with these issues but cannot find one round Burnley, I would have thought there would be someone apart from Ford.

I cannot "like " youre post Gregers as it says I have exceeded my positive posts for the day,,( dont know why cos its my first post in ages) lol.

9 litre capicity in total, but you won't get all of it out of the box, how much you need depends if you intend draining it, or topping up, which in turn depends what you find (not much point in topping up if its turned to tar!) 7 litres seems to be the indication if your draining but have a read yourself.
