06 Galaxy Central Locking Issue

Hi

 

In need of some help with this please,

 

I recently purchased an 06 Galaxy Zetec, the remote fob does not work to start with, but main issue is the locking system itself.

 

When I bought the car only the front two doors and boot lid would work from the drivers door, so i started to trouble shoot, I found the three of the wiring looms in the door jams had damaged wiring, I have repaired all the wiring and thoroughly checked my repairs, but now only the drivers door and boot lid will operate from the key, I have checked all the fuses.

 

Is there a way of resetting the locking system or could this be a relay issue?

welcome to the forum,

i would suspect you have wiring problems still,check recheck and check again.

check the gaitor in the rear hatch.

Have you replaced wires or just rejoined?

Just completed rewire again, I extended existing wiring to allow a little more play, finally everything is now working, at last!,
