Easy enough to change a headlight bulb. Like the idea of removing the whole unit rather than trying to squeeze hand behind.

Just done drop the screw like I did. Impossible to reach and it won't fall all the way through.

Talking about the two torq screws that hold the headlight. Any ideas where to get replacements?

If you can see it then you might be able to retrieve it using something like this

Otherwise assuming its a mkIII then you need to identify which one you need from here

or take a trip to the scrapyard to retrieve a couple would probabbly work out cheaper and quicker (the delivery will be as much as the parts).

Dealer may be able to help - if you can find the part numbers from above they may be able to check stock? Or take one of the others out and take it to an auto factors and see if they can find something suitable?

After changing my headlights a couple of times, dropped a screw and couldn't see it.

I removed the engine skid plate (belly cover) from underneath, which looks more tedious than it is.

It didn't take long and the screw fell out.
