Ivor_E_Tower Posted July 23, 2004 Report Posted July 23, 2004 ..and has your coolant level dropped at all? If not then it must be condensation that is not draining properly - or the drain pipe is missing so it drains into the car rather than outside. My parents had a similar problem a few years ago - drain pipe blocked by debris, and water accumulated in the heater matrix enclosure resulting in a "sloshing" sound every time they went round a corner! grifjl Posted July 23, 2004 Author Report Posted July 23, 2004 Dealer has just confirmed that the condensation 'collecting pan' has broken. Apparently they see a lot of this. The pan is plastic and becomes brittle with the cold water dropping on it. Why on earth didn't the designers figure this out previously? Still under warranty, thank god as it is a big job (man hours). Quote
