Hello

One of the headlight bulbs was gone on my new Galaxy so I grabbed so 50% brighter jobbies from carparts4less anyway decided to throw them in toinght, had a look at the old owners manual and they made it sound oh so easy............

Is there a secret here or something? The drivers side was not to bad once I realised I need to take the cover out rather than just drop it back, the passenger side though, what a nightmare! Those clips that hold the cover on should be stapled to the back of the inventor!

So any secrets to be shared ? :)

They're a nightmare..... other than removing the battery I don't think there is much more you can do t make it easier. Perhaps others might have more tips.

Skin your knukles for ages and then they just fall in,doing the retaining clips is a nightmare cos you are working upside down and blind. Then they just fall in and you wonder what the problem was

Clip to hold the back cover on can be a bugger, i now use a screedriver to lever back on

Easiest way by far is pop the unit out completely

Ah you see, I knew there would be a secret, I did look at removing the whole light but could not quickly locate how the heck it was held in there, I shall do some research ready for next time :)

What was the final nail in the coffin of the day is the wife could see me starting to get a bit excited about it and she came over to see if she could help out, as they do, by this stage I had managed to get the bulbs seated and the retainer clip on the bulb along with the wire I could just not get enough leverage to get that ruddy clip back over the cover, anyway she takes a look, I see it hold on I'll have a go, within a minute I kid you not PING! Wife very kindly then proceeded to do the other side as well :)
