Hello guys. Im new here and I need some help.

My Remote Key stopped working, not even light comes up on the key. Any solutions?

Galaxy 1.9TDi 2004

Replace the battery if you haven't already done so. If the light is on the key and still not working it could be a broken switch in the key - have a look on ebay for a repair kit (i'd expect at least 1 switch to still work if this was the case though).

Thanks for your fast respond. I did, I change the battery but still  nothing (mean no light show up on the key). Hopefuly i not need to  buy new key...

Might be worth trying to get a replacement and programming it - example on ebay

You would need to swap the pats chip and blade part from your existing key to the new fob and sync the fob to your car (the info on doing that is on here somewhere). Not sure if the pats chip is fixed to the key or the fob part as yours is different to mine.

batteries.iirc there are 2 of them.

realy 2 batteries in romete controller? i change just big one 3012, and where are another battery?

 

Does the light flash with either of the buttons? Is it both that aren't working.

no light flash at all (on both buttons).

I've seen two in others - usually 2016 sandwiched ontop of one another.

 

This would provide 6v rather than the 3 you currently have. Needs someone to confirm really as I don't have original remote locking. Did it ever work with batteries you had installed?

I just changed one battery but no luck, need to check under silver plate for another battery, hope it works :)

Yea I will check that. because there was 1 battery above silver plate.

 

Anyway now my car at the garage,need to fix some other problem, then I will check for the second battery.
