L.F. Posted May 13, 2015 Report Posted May 13, 2015 An American friend hired a Ford Galaxy for his trip here recently. When he returned it to the hire company they apparently said that a piece of trim was missing from the bonnet. He hadn't noticed if it was there or not when he hired the car. Could anyone identify what part it might be? I'm trying to find the replacement cost as the hirer charged him £2000 for it! Quote
BrianH Posted May 13, 2015 Report Posted May 13, 2015 I'd guess its a mk3 rather than an earlier version of the galaxy given the mk2 would be at least 9 years old now. Have a look at the parts breakdown here http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford_unit&s_id_grp=1237511&s_id_model=118 Once you have a part number for a suspected part you can then look it up to find a price for it, can't suggest a lot for £200 though if labour has been factored into that it may be something fairly minor.
