I'm after a speed sensor (black plug that goes in the gearbox), would prefer it being sent to me in the post, so looking for a recommendation of  where to buy one. Thanks. (1999 v-reg tdi galaxy)

If you ever need genuine parts, I've used fordpartsuk a few times without any problems. Trevor Porter, the chap who answers the web enquiries is extremely helpful, and although there are postage costs, the parts prices are discounted so it usually ends up a bit cheaper than local dealers.

I've used http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/and would say the same about them really. First thing you need to do if going down that route is find the part number - theres some diagrams available here > http://eucatparts.com/?action=cat_ford that will tell you which part numbers there are, hopefully only one option. Alternatively drop them a message with the reg/vin and they should be able to tell you.

tried all of the above... I am stuck for a 2004 clutch pedal (ford pt. no. 1107186), for no longer make it.........    It has the logo AE on the pedal with a manufacturers number of 7M2 721321C but I can't find out who AE is  any info will be well rev'd

Ae is auto europea. That won't help you though. It's a VW or seat part number you've given.

Best bet is either one of the breakers or contact some of the ones on eBay listing ones for breaking and see if they can help.

Partsgateway is another option.

Try a VW or SEAT dealer (if you haven't already) with the 7M2 number as that is probably the VW number.  VW probably always made them and both manufactured the Sharan/Alhambra  up to 2009.
