Got a 04 tdi 130bhp having problems with juddering within engine had coil done had chamber 1 injector done but still getting the juddering halfords can't find out what is wrong because the juddering is intermittent

What do you mean by coil? I take it you mean you've had one of the unit injectors replaced? One of the known faults is that the wiring loom that runs through the cylinder head to the injectors can cause problems with dodgy contacts causing misfire/poor running. Has it logged any fault codes?

Loom has been done fault codes was cleared and injector 1 was changed but still got same problem intermittent juddering black smoke coming out when juddering aswell and engine seems heavy

so theyve changed all of that and your still having problems?

think id be throwing a hissy fit at them.

Have Google egr as I have said fault codes as garage have said pointed to loom and injector but once changed took it for a test drive after 23 miles the juddering started once you turn engine off and on it restarts the engine drove over 50 miles Monday -Tuesday no problems drove 15 miles on Wednesday problem started again but noticed black smoke coming out of exhaust only on the juddering not all the time?

And the noise of the engine sounded heavy not smooth? Hissy fit did this morning complained as a consumer you have to give the garage a second chance to get the problem right if they can't find the fault has to go off to a diesel specialist

Car starts perfect no rough idling as I've said only intermittent drove it to garage tonight no problems going out of my mind or looking for a needle in haystack comes to mind don't know what's wrong or the garage doesn't know what's wrong either

With the black smoke only occurring when the juddering is happening, that says to me that you could have an EGR fault- either an intermittently sticking valve, dodgy actuator solenoid or vacuum problem, an issue with the MAF sensor- which I believe is a fairly common fault that can give rise to poor running, or a boost problem with the turbo, either sticking vanes or again, a dodgy control solenoid or vacuum supply. You really need more info to work with though, e.g, to be able to check if any new fault codes have been stored or to have VAG-com installed and running on a laptop giving live data readouts from the engine sensors and actuators and go for a drive and look at the various readouts when the fault is occurring to see what's throwing a wobbly.
