Removal Of Scuttle

this mk 2  seems to have a different scuttle panel than the MK 1, that was simply open the bonnet and there were 3 bolts and the panel was out,    what is the procedure for removal so i can clear what looks like half a tree under there,  think the least owner must have lived by trees !

 

there seems to be a panel over the wipers that needs the wiper arms removing before it can be lifted of,  do i need to remove this to get at the scuttle panel ?

The how to shows the single piece wiper trim panel for the later models. I have always removed the panel on mine as I have never been able to manoeuvre the bulkhead out without removing this.  There are instructions on removing this as part of this how to.

seems another 2 min job  now will take longer on the mk 2   looked at the links seems easy enough. Thanks for all your help.

It is a bit of a wrestle but you can take the bulkhead panel out with out removing anything else, I think I did move the air filter box cover out of the way but that's only 4 screws - easy ;-)
