winchesterpaul Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 hi all, just bought our first galaxy, mk2 2.3 16v. just put it in for a mot ..... and yes it failed , drop links, high level brake light not working and a hissing servo ( sounds to be down by the peddle). went to take out the offending servo but how the hell does it detach from the pedal, its not got a pin through it, its a ball going into a white plastic block ..... i cant really figure out how to split them. cheers in advance paul & sarah Quote
insanitybeard Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 If the ball is locating in a white plastic block then there's a good chance that a couple of plastic lugs on the block need to be gently eased outwards to release the ball on the servo rod. As always, the problem is you're working semi blind in the pedal box area so it's hard to see properly! Have you got a small mirror you can use to get a better view into where you're working? Quote
