Skuttle Removal

Hi all

Im going to be removing skuttle tomorrow to clear out drain tubes as i have a wet passenger carpet how does it come off after taking the wipers off as i cant see any screws

Do you have a working rear washer? (if not it could be that look in the faq for info - the trim next to the front passenger door has a joint which fails).

 

May help to indicate which mk one you have?

Hi brian

Sorry yes its a 2001 mk2 i had a none functioning washer a few wks ago but that was the jet on the wiper motor blocked but i will check the washer pipe aswell

if it was blocked then maybe the pressure has blown the pipe apart?

Yeh thats possible i will be having a look tomorrow flipping reverse lights have just stopped working again so will be having another rummage around the wiring in the tailgate again happy days
