Central Locking Continually Locks And Unlocks

I have a weird issue on my 51 plate Galaxy 2.3 whereby when I go to unlock the doors with the remote occasionally I end up standing there for ages while it continually unlocks and relocks and won't let me in! I've repaired all the broken wires in all gaitors and have had no problems except for this occasional problem. Does anyone have any ideas for a fix please? Thanks. Nick

have you checked the wires in the rear hatch?

What happens when you use the key to unlock it?

The other possibility is that one of the door motors (usually the front) is failing to unlock properly or at least the car thinks it hasn't unlocked. If the wires are ruled out then try swapping the motor/door catch over (if you can trigger it doing it while you are in the car look at the door handles - are they all moving, If one isn't then thats where you need to start looking).
