Split Charge Relay Install

Hi,

 

I am looking to install a leisure batter in the boot of my Galaxy MK2.  I have bought the kit and I am about to start fitting this weekend.  The best plan for the relay wiring is to split the Battery Low Warning wire as will only be live then the ignition is on.  Where would I find this wire? Or is there another option I could use?

 

I am aiming to run the cables beside the rear water jet pipe which is under the trim in the passenger

can you pick up a fused constant live feed at the rear cig.lighter sockets ?

relay could be mounted in the compartment behind the sockets?

make your earth point will be in there as well ?

Hi,  Yeah i can check that actually I have a feeling its a 20 Amp fused wire that goes there and that might be high enough rating for what i need.  If i can use this as the Constant live from the battery, i would still need to supply a switched live to that point? is there anything else in there that would be live after startup?
