derekod Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 On my V5 cert the spec is listed as a 1.9 TDDi is this a misprint? and should it have been a 1.9 TDi? As far as I am concerned it is a 2006 Ford Galaxy Zetec 130BHP TDi The reason for asking is the car is being imported into Ireland and the VRT appears to be less for a TDDi spec. Quote
insanitybeard Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 All the extra 'D' stands for is 'Direct' injection, TDI being 'Turbo Diesel Injection', the 'Direct' is just the injection style, i.e, directly into the combustion chamber. If it helps, my 2004 1.9 TDI is listed as a TDDI on the registration document, what age is your Galaxy? Quote
insanitybeard Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 Forget my last remark- you already stated the vehicle age! D'oh. Quote
BrianH Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 It might help to compare it to the etis listing > http://www.etis.ford.com/ (click vehicle and enter the vin it should tell you more info on it). Quote
