welcome to the forum.

have you tried doing a search on here for the info, iirc there plenty of info on this.

again iirc there is even a detailed post on what to buy and how to cut and attach a blind.

my old mk2 ghia didnt come with any of the fittings either,i was thinking of fitting everything to do this myself

but sold the car in the end,oh and if your thinking of doing it?

i have 2 blinds in my garage 1 grey 1 black that need rehoming  ;)

At some point they did change the rear auxiliary sockets from 2 in number down to 1, my '54 plate only has one in the rear. Not sure what you mean by a bulge in the roof though? The rear compartment cover wasn't standard equipment but you should be able to retro fit one, check this out (you'll need to register to see the images though).

have you got rear aircon?

do you have 5 opening windows rather then 6?

Normal amount of windows. The bulge in roof .What I meant was in the rear ceiling there is a bulge  right at the back in middle.think its meant to be there as material covers it.

I have had a good look on this site (very informative) and found out that it could have been an option to have the shelf.Greggers what are the blinds you have for.Sorry for being so daft.

Taking car into garage on weekend get the once over ,cant wait to start to use car for camping.Used to have Citreon Picasso (was  a good car for 8yrs) Kids are bigger (3) and need more room .

The bulge in the roof is there when you have a sunroof (for the glass to slide into) or when you have a real dual aircon system (there will be vents in the roof over the passanger seat area). Depending on the model and the exact date of production, there may or may not be the rear cover fitted - this became an option at some point. Same for the power points.
