chromedome Posted January 7, 2014 Report Posted January 7, 2014 After the engine struggling to turn over a few times lately I decided to change the battery. You don't appreciate how bad your old one is until you replace it. I realised the old battery has been on the car from new........................nearly nine years. That is brilliant and I hope the new one gives just as good service. Following another thread on this forum I bought the New Evolution Range Exide (0173TE). Is it physically larger than the standard fit (being 100 ampere hour against 70 ampere hour) but it fits snuggly in the battery tray with no issues. The old battery was also an Exide.
