Hello (not sure if this is the best section for this post?) - one of my left rear seats broke when someone forced it up from the folded position without using the lever. It now 'flops' backwards and forwards.

I've been ringing breakers yards and stuff but I can't find a replacement anywhere. The closest I have come is this ebay item which is an exact match but it is for a right seat not a left seat :(

I must confess I haven't asked the Ford dealer for a quote, I'm assuming it would be hundreds of quid.

If anyone has any suggestion I would be very grateful. I'm not really fussed - any old 'left' seat would do, although a Grey / Blue match would be preferable I suppose.

the Ebay links not working!

sounds like the latching mech has been forced! remove a couple of seats and compare the mechenisms to see if it can be repaired? one of mine snapped a weld on the release mech! meaning that it would only release if you manually pushed the catch after the lever was pulled, a quick dab with the welder soon sorted it :(

also try

You could try your local mobility conversion center! when they convert the Galaxy for wheel chair access they remove the rear seats, they may have a few in stock cluttering up their shelves?
