niall1001 Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 hi all,was wondering if any1 knows the procedure for removing the front wing on my mk2 galaxy?? had some1 back into the car while i was out today and its going to need replacing,luckily i have a parts donor car but not sure how it comes off as it includes the front 1/4 window,any ideas guys???? seatkid Posted June 26, 2013 Report Posted June 26, 2013 Ouch! Dont know, but I guess it involves removing wheel liner (easy), possibly bumper (not so easy), internal plastic trim on A pillar, maybe other trim (anybodys guess) and undoing a load of bolts.... good luck.... Quote
sparky Paul Posted June 27, 2013 Report Posted June 27, 2013 Not 100% sure, but I believe the small quarter glass stays attached to the body, and the wing is bolt on - around the top and rear of the door shut, bottom, bonnet shut and behind the bumper, and of course the wheelarch liner. If you do need to remove the glass, the assembly is bolted on behind the trim inside the car. Quote
