unclehefty Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 I've been trying to find a 'step by step guide, preferably pictorial, to removing and refitting my o/s real light cluster - some kind;t van owner has modified them so that they are cracked. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Uncle Quote
gregers Posted June 17, 2013 Report Posted June 17, 2013 undo rear hatch, look for the removable trim to the left, pull it off, then stick ur head in the gap so you know what your looking for,you should see 2 plastic tangs think they are grey, press these down and remove the bulb cluster.iirc then you will see 2 plastic wing nut type bolts, undo these and it should pop out.hth. daddyfixit Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 you need a 1/ drive socket set, I think its 3 x 8mm nuts hold the lamp assembly to the body. the upper one is a pain in the hoop, so pop out the oval-shaped courtesy lamp to see it, being careful as its going to be lit and therefore dont short the wires out or you will pop the courtesy light fuse!! cant be 100% sure if you do this bit, but there is a curved piece of bodywork under the lamp that covers up 2 x torx bolts ??----its very easy to crack it as you unclip/slide it off towards the rear of the car...
