How To Find Locked Stereo Code - 2003 Ford Galaxy Lx Tdi

Hi,

 

I have a 2003 Ford Galaxy LX TDI, with the standard stereo something like a 6006 Stereo CD Changer I think (I'm not near my car at the moment).

I was wondering if there was any way to find the code? As I'm currently locked out of listening too it. (Not sure what caused it, It was working, then the next time I got in the car it said enter code...)

 

Can anybody find out it for me or do you know any way I could get one?

It's actually a 6000cd R D S EON

I seem to remember it being 1966 or 1965 or 1971 or something along those lines but they aren't correct...

Hi,

I managed to solve by taking the stereo out, it turns out my Dad had the same issue before and got it unlocked, he'd written the code on the inside of the car where the stereo goes in!

 

So problem solved,

Amazing how often the codes are written on them, I've had 2 cars that needed radio codes and both times they were written on them!
