Central Locking And Instrument Panel Fault

I have a problem with my 1999 Galaxy 1.9TDi

The central locking stopped working I can unlock the two front doors with the key but cannot open the rear doors at all.

Since the central locking stopped working I have noticed a problem on the instrument panel as in the fuel guage reads full when the ignition is off and the trip meter resets to zero when I turn the ignition on.

I have taken out and checked every single fuse there were no problems with them.

I would be very grateful for any advice to fix this problem.

wire problems within any of the doors,common problem so check these 1st.
