Brake Problem Mk1 V6

Hi Guys,

             Have a slight problem with the brakes on my MK1 V6 galaxy Ghia. At speed, the brakes work fine and stop the car as they should. However when stopped at traffic lights or in slow moving traffis, my break pedal pressure almost disapears. Has any one come across this before and if so what was the solution.

Sounds like a leak or restriction on the vacuum side of the servo, maybe in the pipe work from the intake manifold?

Check the stiff plastic vaccum pipe from the servo, it commonly splits at the servo end and/or the intake manifold end
