mrben Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 Hello. Hopefully picture has attached. This plug has never been plugged in since i'v had the car. Just wondering if the previous owner would of disconnected it for any particular reason?? Thanks. Quote
seatkid Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 Coolant temp sensor. Also affects diesel injection timing so starting and running. Possibly disconnected if the sensor is faulty. Quote
mrben Posted May 14, 2013 Author Report Posted May 14, 2013 Ah how strange, because never (touch wood) had any trouble starting or running, and the temp gauge has always worked. Warms up to about half way, seems like normal temp. maybe il connect it and drive around for a bit and see what happens?? Quote
seatkid Posted May 14, 2013 Report Posted May 14, 2013 (edited) OK, I'm wrong. Its a thermal switch used for one of three possible purposes....
