Brake Light Not Working Again!

Hi folks

got the confounded flashing coil and replaced the switch and found a broken cable in the tailgate all was right in the world until I noticed that when I turn the lights on the brake lights no longer work and the flashing coil is back

 

would anybody know if its common to both  relay gone or more faulty wiring??

Agreed, have a closer look, I had 1 broken wire, bit all but one were split

if they are still not working then maybe it requires a new brake light switch/s.

cheaper at vw then fords.

hi thanks for the replies I have checked the wires and any that were cracked I spliced but its still not working Its either brake lights or lights but not both

could it be a common relay?

Check the brake light switch on the brake pedal. Mine was faulty. Easy fix
