Stuck Pipe

hi guys ,just thought id tell you about a problem ive encountered,....wilst working on my mates galaxy...

auy engine i snapped the oil feed pipe to the turbo.....i did try all the tricks mentioned in the forum ,ground down spanner etc....the olive was jammed in the adapter....i did my own car 4 years ago so as routene asked ford for a replacement........shock horror......how much .....just for a pipe....????..

in the end i took the broken pipe to my local hydrallics repair shop...m f hydrallics.oxford ....and came away with a new pipe for £20...thats £40 cheaper than fords.....it pays to shop around...pertec is another company worth a look in....they do the same sort of thing.........oh by the way ...this new pipe is as good or better than original spec
