Not used to auto's Help!! Quote
Guest SA Intruder Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Inhibitor switch out of adjustment. Need to look at TIS perhaps for location. Quote
Xenonman Posted June 25, 2004 Author Report Posted June 25, 2004 Thanks for the speedy reply SA, I have TIS and will have a look. As for the car, it's not mine but my dad's and i'm too far away to nip and have a look at it, I suggested that before he starts it, he physically moves the gear lever from P to D then back, would that work until we can get chance to have a proper look at it? Thanks Ian Quote
Guest SA Intruder Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Just waggle it with key in start position. I think the switch is on quadrant near lever, but can't remember!! Could be a little cruddy...use a bit of Servisol contact cleaner if you can. Quote
Xenonman Posted June 25, 2004 Author Report Posted June 25, 2004 No Prob, I have it on TIS, it can be adjusted up or down until the starter motor works, quite easy to fix i think looking at the diagram. Thanks Ian :( Quote
