aludlow2 Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 My 59 plate Galaxy which I have recently purchased is only blowing air to the front, the dial does not alter the air flow direction, so I cannot properly keep the windscreen clear. Seems to be stuck on front, does not matter which way I point it (feet, windscreen etc). The rate of flow dial works fine however. Any ideas what the matter could be - I presume its a stuck motor which directs the air flow, but I have no idea where this would be located, and don't want to start pulling out the dash to find it Thanks in advance, Anthony Quote
gregers Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 as you say its new to you,did you buy from a dealer?if so take it back to them and get them to investigate any problem. Quote
aludlow2 Posted March 22, 2013 Author Report Posted March 22, 2013 It's out of warranty from the dealer, it is a high mileage vehicle 135k, used previously as an ex hire/taxi car. I knew all this before getting it and got a good discount on the car and have factored in some maintenance on the vehicle, mostly it seems very well looked after with servicing every 5k. But I could do with the air vents working Thanks in advance Quote
bobbyrabs Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 you still have the right for them to fix it they usually give you a 3 month warranty when you but second hand ,but I don't know when or where you bought it of course, tell them your are going to the citizens advice this usually works, know your rights .
