fivenecks Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 i have noticed that a pipe has come away and i think it has come from the air filter box and has i cannot put back on i rang frauds to see if i can get another cover/ top lid they said i would have to buy a complete box for 95.00 pounds, are they easy to fit or has anyone any ideas if i could repair.they dont know what one i need have to bring car to them i explained that the hose comes out of the lid at the rear. so do not know a part no. thanks in advance Quote
dlt1617 Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 The pipe you are talking about is part of the air filter case, cheepest option buy one from a breaker/ebay. The reason the dealer is not sure which pipe you need is because the parts illustration would not show a small pipe clearly. Best wishes Dave Quote
seatkid Posted March 20, 2013 Report Posted March 20, 2013 glue it back together? or Drill out airbox fit some kind of connector - could be a bit of hard plastic piping of correct diameter pushed in and glued in. Quote
