Front And Rear Brakes Mk 2 Galaxy

Hi guys

I am looking at replacing both front and rear discs and pads on my mk2 TDI as soon as the weather improves.

Can any one reccomend a make or advise of any problem areas in doing this job or special tools required.?

Just done all of mine, would suggest getting the brake wind back tool off Ebay 23 quid as you will need it for the rear discs, you can do the job in a pair of hours, make sure handbrake is fully off.

i recommand a wind back tool also as dogs or grips just wreck the rubber if not careful,

I am going to change my rear disc's and pad , when work permits.

Can you tell me what tools are needed, dont want to be left high and dry with the wrong tools.

Hi, as per my previous messages the wind back tool kit from Ebay for only 23 quid is just the job, can supply no of part if you want.

Got mine from Halfords. £24.95 about a year or so ago. Not essential but makes the job a lot easier
