Argrdnr Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 I know tho has been covered....but Every so often, not all the time when accelerating away the car seems to have no power, usually happens when either just setting off or at around 50-70mph. Everything I have found seems to suggest a turbo issue but my car isn't a turbo. So I'm thinking fuel filter or MAF sensor. Can anyone advise pleeeeease Quote
Argrdnr Posted March 14, 2013 Author Report Posted March 14, 2013 Disconnected the MAF after reading on here. Limp mode appeared. Went to a garage and they said it could still be the MAF. After looking at it properly I noticed that a previous owner has taken it apart and put it back together. Seems like it could be that. Quote
xavier Posted March 14, 2013 Report Posted March 14, 2013 The may have taken it apart to clean it. You could also give it a try to see if that helps, or change the unit. Quote
Argrdnr Posted March 15, 2013 Author Report Posted March 15, 2013 Think if it's been cleaned before its had an issue so I think I will just change it. If its not the MAF then what else can it be? My galaxy is not a turbo Quote
Argrdnr Posted March 18, 2013 Author Report Posted March 18, 2013 Bought a maf on eBay so lets see if this works :) Quote
