DA42 Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 Hi, new here so would like to say a big hello to every one at the Ford Galaxy forum! My dad recently purchased a 2006 Galaxy 2.3 which has only covered 45,000 miles from new. Problem is, the front passenger and both rear passenger doors fail to lock and unlock using the key fob or manually locking. I have read many articles on the net suggesting broken wires inside the door pillar rubber gaiters and tailgate. Today I checked all wires and found them to be perfect. I removed the driver's side door card and did a continuity test from the door actuator multiplug to the canon plug on the door pillar and all seems good. I played around with the dead lock switch on the driver's door and the front passenger as well as the nearside passenger door central locking worked a couple of times then stopped. Driver's door, petrol cap door and tailgate work fine. Could this be a control module defect?? Always difficult to find without a wiring diagram. Any help would be gladly appreciated. Quote
