Guest nimrod Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 well this is done to the legal limit, the fronts are only UV reflective but still slightly darker than standard! 18 months later and only two very small scratches! and with my lot that's a miracle! does it look right judge for yourself............ ALARM MAN Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 NIMROD Heavens you could have washed it first!! Tut Tut Quote
Guest nimrod Posted June 24, 2004 Report Posted June 24, 2004 I can wash it, wax, polish the rims and clean the interior! but ten minutes later when the wife and kids pull back onto the drive its covered in crap or full of it! so I dont bother anymore Quote
Guest JAMESA Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Nimrod that looks cool, thanks for your opinion on tinting, ill now be going for it thanks jamesa Quote
djacks42 Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 Nimrod - does the tinting make alot of difference to the interior temp? I have no air-con so I'm thinking of getting this done - but only for this reason. Quote

It does appear to lower the temperature slightly, the front two windows are only U/V reflective, helps and it keeps the visablity levels up! Quote
Topbloke Posted June 25, 2004 Report Posted June 25, 2004 I tinted my side windows my self although i must admit that i will have to do the rear sides again they are not up to my standards and they were the first ones i did. the next ones i did i read the instructions and it was a lot better the windows come out easily and can give you guidance if you need i have put off doing the rear window but i will do it soon. i seem to think that the temp inside the car is a lot less but that may just be me :( Quote
suzuki91 Posted June 26, 2004 Report Posted June 26, 2004 the rear window needs a lot of patience to do. also a heat gun or hair dryer to shrink the film as it's on the inside of a curve. Quote
