Injector Loom

Looks like i may have to change the injector wiring loom..... Do any of you brain boxes know the ford/VW part number and maybe a rough cost please.

 

I really dont fancy taking it apart to find the part number put it back and take it apart again.

Hi the cost to buy one last year was about £60.00 the part number should be easy for your local vw dealer to find just quote your details but change the first bit to Vw Sharan!

I would check both the Ford and Vw prices just in case as they do change.

It looks to me like the part you need is 038 971 600.

Maybe there is a pattern part available, at least you can use that to google for it.

Have a look at the attached, from Etka I think it is item 30, seems to be €42 plus VAT a few years a go so I would guess a bit more than £50 now.

I don't know what they are talking about with 038 971 121 in the remark column though.

What mileage are you at, I'm expecting to need to do mine in the not-too-distant, I'm coming up to 160,000 miles.

I have managed get the part from a VW parts seller for £52.55 including VAT.

 

My Gal has done around 135.000 miles. Im guessing i should replace the rocker cover gasket while im at it.

 

Anyone know where i can get injectors reconditioned ??????
