Central Locking Won't Work.

Hi,

 

I have an 02 galaxy. The central locking works with the key in the door but doesn't work when using the key remotely.

 

I've tried re-programming it, but when I turn the key in the door 3 times etc., the LED door light doesn't come on at all. The light on the key works fine.

 

Any suggestions?

what does the light do when you lock the car?

LED light on door doesn't work at all when you lock or unlock the car with the key in the door.

then i would be investigating the wires in the rubber gaitor for breakages.

you may have to take the door card off as weel to check the wire to the red light

iirc that has a block on it and may have come apart?
