Ac Problem

Hi everyone, it's my first post so here goes :27:

 

I've got a 09 galaxy ghia which I bought from a local ford dealer in July. When I first did a test drive of the car the ac was not working but the dealer said he would get it regassed so when I went back the ac was working fine.

 

Now I don't normally drive this car as the wife has it for the kids but this weekend I had it and wanted to demist the windows as it was raining cats and dogs but I just couldn't get the ac to work so the questions I have are:

 

As the outside temperature was only showing 9C should the ac still work?

 

If the above answer is yes then there must be a fault so as I took out the ford extended warranty when bought the car is work on the ac covered by this warranty?

take it back and get them to sort it,ask exactly what work was carried out when you 1st bought it.

Thanks. They had it in last week and replaced the condenser. Works ok now but I'll be keeping a close eye on it from now on.
